Maria Soul Blue’s & Jazz singer,
Taking us back to the 60s, Maria Evangelou is a new face in a bygone genre who’s rhythmic voice masterfully pays homage to soul, blues and jazz with a retro pop feel. Her latest single,‘Mr Right’, is an enticing piece with the backbone of an immaculately produced track that allows Evangelou’s rich yet quivering voice to assimilate and beguile listeners causing an influx of emotions. Having been captivated by music from a young age, Evangelou approaches her music with a mature expressiveness that draws comparisons to the likes of Amy Winehouse and Duffy.
