Artist Bio

Saxophone Player – This is by doubt one of the sexist instruments of it’s time. If your looking for an accomplished musician and performer, Ian  is the artist for you, with his act Solid Sax. Ian has over 20 years experience and has worked with some of the greats in his time. As well as being a Saxophonist Ian has a great vocal ability too giving him the upper edge on his competitors. With a repertoire of over 250 songs and instrumentals available to him his mix of music and delivery makes any event he performs at memorable. His history includes him having working with some of the UK’s premier function bands and toured with many international artists. Ian has also played on numerous recordings and in the day appeared on Top of the Pops, The National Lottery and The Clive James Show. Ian Thompson is a much sought-after solo entertainer, who has performed at a wide variety of  venues and events including: Weddings, corporate functions, private parties, as well as Restaurants, Hotels and night club appearances.
